About the exhibition
Artist Liz Bradshaw’s I didn’t expect to live this long presents large-scale sculpture and installation works that queer time, space and materiality. Drawing together new work with pieces from the 1990s, the exhibition weaves personal experience with the queer history of the NAS site and the surrounding Darlinghurst area, long an epicentre of Australian queer life.
